CITY PREP is a not for profit organization whose mission is: (1) to enable the Bronx's brightest and most dedicated children to have valuable cultural and technological experiences they otherwise could not enjoy, (2) to develop within these students a respect for and commitment to their community, (3) provide for them rigorous academic enrichment, and 4) prepare them to compete for admission into selective secondary school programs. We seek to instill in our students a love of learning that will persist through secondary school and beyond. The primary goal of CITY PREP is to accomplish those objectives and thereby set our students on a more equal intellectual footing with economically advantaged children.

Through CITY PREP's program of rigorous academic and cultural enrichment, we seek to provide for our students, who already possess the will, the way to a better life.
